Research & Development Manager (m/f/d)

The Research & Development Manager will plan and manage development projects starting from the project idea up to registration of the product and beyond. You will work in close cooperation with a multidisciplinary team, international colleagues, external partners and customers. The tasks and responsibilities will be broad, ranging from designing development projects and solving of galenical challenges, to preparation of final documentation for registration. This job is an ideal position for a scientist to work on different exciting development projects – in a very successful, fast paced, international pharmaceutical company.

A challenging task

  • Driving new pharmaceutical development projects (ranging from generic formulations to innovative project scopes) with focus on galenical and technological aspects
  • Independent planning and highly motivated management of the pharmaceutical development up to the preparation of the approval documentation in an international environment
  • Working on strategies to respond to deficiency letters issued by Health Authorities
  • Support of customer submissions in worldwide markets
  • Actively design and align the new projects, considering the partial or overall viability of the projects
  • Identifying and evaluating new development approaches and technologies
  • Developing individual solutions for the various product development processes in cooperation with external partners and internal departments

A convincing background

  • Degree in pharmaceutical or scientific studies and several years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical development
  • Deep understanding how to advance complex projects and communicate openly and purposefully with internal and external project partners Understanding and interest in data analysis and statistics is an advantage
  • Strengths in communication and a convincing manner
  • Highest expectations of your work and pro-actively engage in multidisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent project communication in English
  • Couriosity, willing to continuously learn and a passion for pharmaceutical development
