Are you ready to take on a key role in the strategic direction of our supply chain management? As Head of Supply Chain Established Products, you will be responsible for the entire procurement process through to on-time delivery to our B2B and B2C customers. Together with your team, you will develop innovative solutions and optimize processes to guarantee our customers the highest quality and reliability, always in compliance with our internal standards.

A challenging task

  • Professional and disciplinary responsibility for strategic purchasing and supply chain of our portfolio of established products. The role is understood 'end to end', meaning from supplier (API, FDF & logistics) to the customer (B2B, B2C) following our internal standards
  • Responsibility for analyzing and realizing cost reduction potentials, ensuring material supply to customers, as well as developing and implementing improvement plans for further development if required
  • Management and further development of the team for established projects, as well as active shaping of the team and corporate culture
  • Strongly aligning with our internal manufacturing sites in Nicosia, Cyprus and Hyderabad, India to further strengthen and develop internal supply performance
  • Supervision and further development of our key performance indicators across the entire supply chain, as well as reporting and key figure reporting to the Director Supply Chain Management
  • Member of the supply chain leadership team for our pharmaceutical products. Controlling link between operations and the internal specialist departments, as well as within the Tiefenbacher development and production network to support Tiefenbacher's growth targets
  • Further development Creation of stringent, competitive structures and processes 'end to end' in the supply chain

A convincing background

  • A successfully completed degree in economics and several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, or a related sector such as cosmetics, food, or other consumer goods
  • Familiarity with the processes involved in the procurement and production of pharmaceuticals
  • Competence and enjoyment in employee management, with a minimum of three years of leadership experience preferred
  • A proactive working style that motivates teams to achieve top performance
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with assertiveness and excellent communication abilities, to support effective task execution
  • High standards for work quality, with the ability to maintain composure and a sense of humor even in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in German and English, as well as confidence in using MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Willingness to travel to external and internal manufacturing sites in Europe and worldwide, as well as to conferences and industry fairs
