We are looking for an experienced financial accountant (all genders) in full- or part-time to actively support our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for accounts payable and support the preparation of annual financial statements. You will work closely with various departments and ensure that the financial transparency and stability of the company is guaranteed.

A challenging task

  • Account assignment and recording of business transactions from accounts payable accounting
  • Preparation and execution of domestic and foreign payment runs
  • Checking and posting travel expense reports incl. reconciliation of credit card charges (AirPlus)
  • Valuation, booking and management of fixed assets incl. AFA run
  • Accounting management of various contracts such as rental and vehicle contracts
  • Continuous optimization of accounting processes, e.g. participation in digitization projects

A convincing background

  • Commercial training with a focus on accounting/taxes and further training as an IHK-certified financial accountant
  • At least 5 years of sound professional experience as a financial accountant
  • Very good knowledge of German tax law
  • Experience in working with an ERP system such as SAP or MS Dynamics
  • Enjoy establishing, improving and optimizing work processes in accounting
  • Openness to change
  • Enjoying new challenges and finding solutions to them
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (at least B2 level)
  • Well-organized and structured personality with a sense of humor
  • Willingness to work with different departments and stakeholders
