The Supply Chain Specialist plays a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless import, warehousing, and distribution processes for pharmaceutical ingredients across Europe. By ensuring efficient order management, reliable logistics, and proactive customer service, the role delivers value to a key account and fosters strong relationships with internal teams, logistics partners, and customers. Acting as a central point of expertise within the supply chain organization, the Supply Chain Specialist drives operational excellence, process optimization, and customer satisfaction, aligning logistics strategies with business objectives and the evolving needs of a strategic client.

A challenging task

  • Independent organization and management of import, warehousing, and distribution of pharmaceutical active ingredients within Europe
  • Entry, processing, and tracking of customer orders in the ERP system
  • Coordinating stock levels and transport to European locations
  • Consolidating and checking shipments and invoicing
  • Key Account support
  • Liaising with internal departments, external service providers, and customers
  • Contributing to process optimization and efficiency improvements in the supply chain

A convincing background

  • Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or similar
  • Several years of experience in international logistics or supply chain management (pharmaceuticals an advantage, but not a must)
  • Strong command of ERP system functionalities
  • Strong service orientation and communication skills
  • High levels of English proficiency, good German skills are an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
