As Operations Manager, you are the key actor between our customers and suppliers. Your main mission is to ensure the end-to-end management of pharmaceutical products, from planning until goods collection. During the process you will be responsible for keeping track of upcoming deliveries as well as ensuring high level of customer service, with consistent and savvy information. You will work with various internal departments and external third parties for a smooth handling of the day-to-day operations and resolve a wide variety of exciting challenges.

A challenging task

  • Coordination of the complete Supply Chain process, including planning, ordering and delivery for and with our customers, including monitoring and coordination of packaging materials as well as batch documents
  • Pro-active planning of active ingredients needed for the production of our medicinal products in accordance to procurement needs
  • Communication with contract manufacturers, suppliers and customers, in Europe and beyond, as well as with the different teams and entities of our Tiefenbacher Group
  • Creation of sales orders, production orders and purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Customer Service Management relating to Supply Chain activities in a given product portfolio, including attendance to meetings (mainly in English), direct communication and updates on orders and supply topics

A convincing background

  • Successfully completed training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or Supply Chain with focus on international business
  • Career beginners are welcome, however a first work experience in a Supply Chain or Planning position is an advantage, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Very good time management and capacity to handle multiple tasks
  • Passionate in dealing with facts and figures, you have a strong analytical thinking which allows you to work efficiently
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team and to act flexibly in a dynamic environment
  • Very good communication skills to ensure a high standard of customer service even in difficult situations
  • Initial experience of working with an ERP system
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. You are also very familiar with the German language
  • Confident handling of MS-Office, particularly able to perform complex tasks in MS Excel
