In this role you will be part of the Supply Chain department and responsible for Launch Projects as part of a project team, striving to be top in class when it comes to deliver product launches on time and in full according to customer needs in multiple markets around the globe. The end-to-end responsibility includes your participation, guidance and decision making in very early product design phases. You will be responsible for a competitive product cost concept and the corresponding design of reliable supply chains. Your experience in internal and external stakeholder management will enable you to drive the project forward in the launch phase. As such you will play a key role in successfully managing designing and launching our products and make them available to patients around the globe.

A challenging task

  • Pro-actively participating in and supporting the project team in the early project phases for e.g.: the trade dress, batch concept, supplier feasibility screening
  • Designing a reliable and capable supply chain for each new product, based on the above criteria and considering the technical and regulatory requirements in the early phase of the projects
  • Reviewing competitive in-house manufacturing cost calculation and/or analyzing the global market including execution of RfQs with multiple external suppliers
  • Being a valuable collaboration partner for our licensing department to prepare cost calculations for preparation of customer offers and contracts
  • Executing price and contract negotiations with selected suppliers
  • Project Management of the Launch Phase, including planning and coordinating launch projects worldwide
  • Supporting peers' projects with knowledge exchange and a hands-on mentality
  • Responsible for the raw material demand and capacity planning in coordination with suppliers and customers
  • Take on activities to further advance the processes and ways of workings of the Launch department
  • Seamless Handover of projects to the established product team after coordinating and planning the main launch

A convincing background

  • Successfully completed economics degree or a comparable training and gained at least 3-5 years supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge on early project phases in pharmaceuticals, including development and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with procurement processes and production requirements, ideally in the pharmaceutical field
  • Experience in Supply Chain Quality Processes as well as Operational Excellence
    Curiosity driven mindset
  • Team Player aptitude and strong analytical skills, good assertiveness and open-minded communication skills
  • Proficient German and English as well as confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Interest in meeting people from different backgrounds and appreciate a divers environment
  • Resilient character with highest demand to work ethics, who navigates through hectic times with a cool head and contagious humor
