As Head of Supply Chain Launch Projects, you will play a central role in the planning and implementation of our supply chain strategies for new market entries and projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and on-time project launch. In this responsible position, you will make a significant contribution to scaling and optimizing our supply chain and support our innovation and growth objectives.

A challenging task

  • Lead the launch managers within the launch projects team
  • Responsibility for the successful launch of drugs and medical devices
  • If necessary, take on own projects in the role of Launch Manager
  • Act as the first escalation level towards customers and contract manufacturers in case of issues
  • Creation of clear structures and processes within the launch projects department
  • Successful management of special projects within the supply chain department or the organization to achieve corporate goals
  • Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and representing the projects internally and externally
  • Act as a member of various steering committees

A convincing background

  • Successful completion of business studies and several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as several years of professional experience in launch management
  • In-depth knowledge of the processes involved in the procurement and production of drugs (and ideally medical devices)
  • Proactive working style that enables the motivation of a team to perform at their best
  • Strong analytical skills that support the execution of tasks, as well as good assertiveness and communication skills
  • Enjoyment and competence in leading employees, with initial leadership experience
  • High standards for one's work and the ability to maintain composure and humor even in hectic times
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, along with confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, rounding off the profile
