A challenging task

Leadership and development: Professional and disciplinary responsibility for the IP team; active promotion of a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous development.

Strategic IP development: Further development and implementation of a future-oriented IP strategy in line with our corporate goals and regulatory requirements.

Patent law evaluation: Evaluation of development projects from a patent law perspective, with a focus on patents relating to the active ingredient and the associated formulation

Cooperation and communication: Close cooperation with international partners, sister companies, internal development and approval departments and external patent attorneys.

Advice and support: Strategic advice to management and business development on all patent law issues to strengthen our innovative power.
A convincing background

Professional competence: Successfully completed scientific studies (chemistry or pharmacy), ideally with a doctorate in organic/pharmaceutical chemistry or pharmaceutical technology.

Professional experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of patent law, preferably with a focus on the pharmaceutical-generic industry; initial management experience is an advantage, as is previous experience as a patent attorney.

Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking: Ability to proactively link IP issues with corporate strategy and to take a long-term perspective.

Leadership: High self-motivation, sense of responsibility and the ability to lead a diverse team in an inspiring and results-oriented manner.

Strong communication and team skills: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels as well as solution-oriented, clear and empathetic communication.

Flexibility and innovative spirit: Enjoy working with complex tasks, innovative spirit and openness to change.

Language and IT skills: Very good knowledge of German and English as well as a confident use of MS Office.
